Where do I even begin with this magnificent art book? GEN is a collection of Jun Suemi's artworks from 1985 to 1998, and what a collection it is. From Wizardry to Brandish, and many more series I know little about but wish I knew more, this art book has something for every Jun Suemi fan. And seeing as I think the art more than speaks for itself, I won't give much commentary throughout this time. I'll just show off my personal favorites!

Another beautiful transluscent title page. Always a lovely touch, and the paper feels more durable than it looks.

Shout-out to Lodoss War (fan?)art! I've been using that Deedlit as my Steam icon for a few years now, I love it so much. ♥

One of the few artworks featured in the book that is split across two pages. ;; Though a pet peeve of mine, it's inevitable, and at least the person working on the layout scaled the artwork so that the seam didn't go right down the center of the focal point. (Sadly, I've seen this happen before.)

And there's a mostly commentary-less preview of GEN~ (Though to be honest, these art book pages are meant more for showing selections of artworks and maybe help someone decide if they want to buy it, rather than just me gushing. ^^; ) Despite having a few Jun Suemi art books, I'm glad that this one features a few Wizardry artworks, because the art books for those are ones I do not have yet, due to the high prices. So this art book is nice for anyone wanting to see a few Wizardry pieces in higher quality. And I'm glad that, as of writing this, this is one of Jun Suemi's more affordable art books. Their art is such an inspiration to me, even just looking at the photos has me motivated to work on my own art again.
